TheMatrixDFESeriesandN‐SACLIallowsyoutoabbreviatecommandsandkeywordsdownto
thenumberofcharactersthatwillallowforauniqueabbreviation.Whenthespacebarauto
completefunctionisenabled,italsoallowsyoutodetermineifacommandfragmentisunique.If
itis,
theCLIwillcompletethefragmentonthecurrentdisplayline.
Abbreviating a Command

Using the Spacebar Auto Complete Function
WhenthespacebarautocompletefunctionisenabledasdescribedinTable 3‐3,pressingthe
spacebarafteraCLIcommandfragmentwillallowyoutodetermineifthefrag mentisunique.Ifit
is,theCLIwillcompletethefragmentonthecurrentdisplayline.
Thisexampleshowshow, whenthe
functionisenabled,enteringconfandpressingthespacebar
wouldbecompletedas“configure”:
